Camu camu is a native Peruvian plant which grows in the Amazon forests, in lowlands flooded areas. The bushes, which produce red berry-like fruits, can grow up to 8 meters high. Camu camu is well appreciated for its very high vitamin C contents, which can be almost 60
times more than that found in orange flesh.

Benefits
